Ezekiel 38 part II

In the first part we have identified the movers and shakers of a multi nation confederacy led most likely by Russia and Iran with other nation working together.And that they will make war with Israel in a war of great devastation and although it hints at Saudi Arabia and Yemen and England it does not offer much as to who will be the allies of Israel.I can only assume the United States being they have supported Israel traditionally and also based on common knowledge I’d Imagine China would ally with Russia but the Bible does not at least directly reference China.

¹⁴ “Therefore, son of man, prophesy, say to Gog, thus says Adonai Elohim: ‘In that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know? ¹⁵ You will come from your place out of the extreme north—you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and mighty army. ¹⁶ You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud covering the land. It will happen in the last days. I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me—when I am sanctified through you, Gog, before their eyes”(Tree of Life version)

It sounds here like it is saying that the Lord will bring the enemies of God upon his holy land and city to test the faith of the Godly but also to show the wicked in the last days the true God fully revealed.Sort of like in the book of Exodus where God brings plagues so the pharaoh will know the Lord and that the Lord is greater than his gods.”I will bring you(Gog of Magog) against my land ,so the nations may know me”.

¹⁷ Thus says Adonai Elohim: “Are you the one that I spoke about in former times through My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for many years that I would bring you against them? ¹⁸ In that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel”—it is a declaration of Adonai—“My fury will rise up in My nostrils. ¹⁹ In My jealousy and the fire of My wrath I have spoken! Surely in that day there will be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. ²⁰ The fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep upon the ground and all humans upon the face of the earth will shake at My presence. The mountains will be thrown down. The steep places will fall. Every wall will fall to the ground. ²¹ I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains”—it is a declaration of Adonai—“every man’s sword will be against his brother. ²² I will punish him with pestilence and blood. I will pour out rain on him, on his troops and on the many peoples with him, a torrential rain, with hailstones, fire and brimstone. ²³ So I will magnify and sanctify Myself. I will make Myself known in the eyes of many nations, and they will know that I am Adonai.”(that is the Lord)

It is clear that verse 20-23 is talking about a great natural disaster of great proportions and brother will turn on brother and great rain and floods with hail, fires and all the nations will know the name of the Lord.So it appears all nations that do not submit to God will be destroyed!

I am better at history and geography and etymology than theology so I’m going to something I should have brought up in the first part and so I reference Psalm 120:5.

“Woe to me, for I sojourn in Meshech,
for I dwell among the tents of Kedar!”

To me this sounds like the Ottoman Empire or at least the countries of southern Russia and central Asia that are Islamic because as we learned before Meshekh is southern Russia and or Georgia and what not.Keidar is associated as Bedouin nomadic tent dwellers and Islam in general ,Keidar was a son of Yishmael in the Bible and Yishmael or Ishmael is the supposed godfather of Islam.This could reference possibly to Bukhari Jews of central Asia or Jews of Khazar or maybe just how important southern Russia and central Asia will be in times to come.So I guess I will end here I think I have offered what I can and I hope I have made clear that this ancient text really address modern issues and what is going on now.Please any questions or requests for future research please put in comments ,thank you all and God bless!
